What is a mind map?
A mind map is a diagram of connected ideas arranged around a central word or idea. By representing a topic in a graphical manner with interconnecting lines, a mind map stimulates the right side of the brain and helps in generating ideas. Mind maps are therefore often used for brainstorming. A more detailed description can be found, as always, on Wikipedia.
Thanks for that. Now I want to get started!

- Type a caption for the root node - this will also become the name of your mind map. Press ENTER.
- Click the
Add button to add your first idea, or press INS.
- Now type the caption for the idea. Press Shift+ENTER to insert new lines, or ENTER to commit.
- Don't worry about saving your map, all changes will be saved automatically!

Using a MindMap is a good way to start a writing, or any, Project.
Write your main idea in the Center...and add the main points.
Extend the main points as the words come to your head.
I will show you this next lesson in the Multi-tech classroom
